Take advantage of a tour booked via the Boulders Visitors Center for a small fee. The tour takes you across the wooden board walks where visitors can view the penguins and their antics. The beach is part of the Table Mountain National Park and knowledgeable staff guide the tours.
Boulders Beach is on Cape Town's Peninsula near Simons Town, making it easy to combine a trip to the Naval Submarine Museum with a trip to the penguins. This is a small beach and space is dependent on the tide. Visit during low tide.
