Tandem Paragliding off Lion's Head, Cape Town
High-Adrenaline Adventure Experience
No prior experience of paragliding is required to take part in this amazing adventure activity.Cape Town's topography is well-suited to paragliding, with the mountains surrounding the city creating great atmospheric conditions. There are a number of areas where paragliding is possible: Lion’s Head, Signal Hill and Sir Lowry’s Pass (east of Cape Town). Since this sport is dependent on weather conditions, the instructors will choose a location that best suits the weather and wind direction.
Lion’s Head is the most popular launching site and offers incredible bird’s eye views of the city and ocean.
The Tandem Flight Instructors are all TFI certified by the South African Association of Paragliding (SAHPA)
What to wear for paragliding
Wear running shoes, long pants, and long sleeve tops. Instructors will turn anyone away if their clothing is not suitable for a flight.Weight restrictions
Anyone weighing between 20 and 130kg (44 and 286 lbs) can paraglide.You can get a photo or video of your experience!
