Cape Town's topography is well-suited to paragliding, with the mountains surrounding the city creating great atmospheric conditions. There are a number of areas where paragliding is possible: Lion’s Head, Signal Hill and Sir Lowry’s Pass (east of Cape Town). Since this sport is dependent on weather conditions, the instructors will choose a location that best suits the weather and wind direction.
Lion’s Head is the most popular launching site and offers incredible bird’s eye views of the city and ocean.
The Tandem Flight Instructors are all TFI certified by the South African Association of Paragliding (SAHPA)
