4x4 Game Drives - Northern Circuit Safari Tour

Below is a detailed outline of this itinerary.

Day 01: Arrival at Kimanjaro / Hotel

Visitors arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), located near Arusha in Northern Tanzania.

Here you will meet with our company representative. You are then transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 02: Maasai Village | Lake Manyara National Park / Lodge

Our representative will meet you at the hotel just after breakfast. We have prepared a picnic lunch and will drive to Lake Manyara National Park via a Maasai village. In a 4x4 safari air conditioned vehicle, drive about 120kms (72 miles) to Lake Manyara. In Lake Manyara National Park, visitors can expect to see baboons, blue and velvet monkeys at the gate where there is an underground water forest. As you proceed further into the park, the forest seems to disappear and we can start looking out for tree climbing lions in the acacia trees. As we travel along Lake Manyara we see flamingo and other water birds. Out on the water we spot hippo - and on the shore we can expect to see elephant, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, warthog and more.

We will stay in the park for game drives until evening.

We visit Maasai homes called Maasai Bomas, learn about Maasai food, pastoralists, and Maasai products like handicrafts, and enjoy traditional dances. When visiting Maasai villages, please consider the way you are dressed. Clothing should be discreet, for example, shorts and skirts must cover the knees and you should always ask permission before taking a photograph.

Dinner and overnight is at the Lodge/Camp.

We all wake up early and head off for morning (6.00am) game drives in Lake Manyara National Park. At 9.00 am we stop for breakfast and return to the camp for Lunch.
